  Ohana is an uncommonly welcoming and warm church with a place for everyone! Pastor Surface and his family are incredible and now that they are in the new building, the facilites just keep on improving. With socials and functions being held constantly (more than any other church we've attended), you WILL make new friends...quickly! And many of the friends we made at Ohana are still our friends years later and probably will be for the rest of our lives. Enjoy your time here, and treasure it!

  Visited here in 2007. Bible-believing, preaching church. We went to a Christmas fellowship at the Pastor's home following Sunday evening service and felt right at home. They were even able to bus me and my family to and from services if we called ahead.

  My home of godly fellowship and spiritual growth. A church with a sound doctrine...KJV bible teaching like none other, Pastor Surface and the rest of the staff at Ohana love the Lord and it shows.

  This review is long over due. My husband and I (and our older son) attended Ohana Baptist Church from 2010 to 2013 (the military moved us back to the mainland). I have to say the name says a lot "Ohana" which means family. Everyone here welcomes you with a loving heart and makes you feel like you are already part of their Ohana! :) John 13:34-35 (KJV) comes to mind when I think about the love this church shows to each other and all visitors. And if you happen to relocate and think you will not hear from them…wrong…we are still part of their Ohana and love them dearly. Though most importantly you will meet a Pastor and those that teach a class (Sunday School) that preach and teach God's truth. :) The Pastor's wife and other ladies that I have met here are women that love the Lord and they don't have to say it…their actions say it for them.
  Maybe you're not sure about going but are curious…I know that if you go and give them a chance you will be glad you did!
